FibreTuff PAPC drop in replacement for CNC Machining orthopaedic implants with PEEK

An orthopaedic spinal implant for proof of concept made from 3D Printing FibreTuff PAPC and utilizing CNC Machining process, showing no visible degradation of the cellulose fibers in the spinal implants. The FibreTuff PAPC has a unique surface texture to accept novel hydroxyapatite coatings. Furthermore, the FibreTuff PAPC has radiopacity and does not require barium sulfate or tantalum beads for locating implant in body.

Bar stock available in 16mm, 20mm and 30mm dia. for CNC machining

FibreTuff PAPC has been made into bar stock for machining purposes to manufacture radiopaque implants like TLIF, Spinal cages that cannot be made in other processes, i.e. extrusion, micro molding. Lengths are limited to certain sizes and construction.
