FibreTuff drop in replacement for CNC Machining orthopaedic implants with PEEK

An orthopaedic spinal implant for proof of concept made from 3D Printing FibreTuff  and utilizing CNC Machining process, showing no visible degradation of the cellulose fibers in the spinal implants. The FibreTuff has a unique surface texture to accept novel hydroxyapatite coatings.

Bar stock available in 16mm, 20mm and 30mm dia. for CNC machining

FibreTuff has been made into bar stock for machining purposes to manufacture radiopaque implants like TLIF, Spinal cages that cannot be made in other processes, i.e. extrusion, micro molding. Lengths are limited to certain sizes and construction.


FibreTuff has remarkable screw retention and laser cutting ability

This Bar Stock was CNC milled, laser cut with push pin for proof of concept performed by prosthetic company for evaluation.
